A Location, A Bridal Faire, A Ton of Decisions

Wow! It has been a while. Where do we begin?

A good place to start to would be to announce that we have decided on a venue for our ceremony and reception. While going to look at a few different venues in Clarksburg Travis and Shelley (Tiffany's mom) stumbled upon a wonderful place right across the Freeport bridge. Although, in the sake of full discloser, it had wine tasting. The Old Sugar Mill in Clarksburg, CA caught our eye with wonderful architecture on the outside and wonderful wine inside. The choice was an easy one for Tiffany to make once she was able to make the trip out to see it.

Tiffany would also like to announce that she has decided on a dress. We would like to post a picture of it but that would mean that Travis would be able to see it and even though Tiffany has tried her hardest to make him see it, he has refused. We are both sure that everyone will be excited to see her walking down the aisle.

Tiffany has a story to tell,
"While at the Enchanted Bridal Shoppe picking out my dress, I had the most amazing person helping me. Jenn, who works at the family run shop and helped me through the whole process of finding my dress (including lacing the back!) has also worked as a coordinator. Because we were looking for a coordinator it was great to happen to run into such a wonderfully friendly, organized, and intelligent person like Jenn. She has subsequently helped me out with a ton of decisions and was even great enough to go with us to a smaller bridal faire at our venue to talk with possible vendors. I am so relieved to have her helping us with our wedding!"

All the hard work is done now, right? Yeah. The work has only begun.

Today we have started to look at photographers and we should have a decision shortly. We hope in the next few weeks to have the following chosen:

1) Photographer  (update: see above)
2) Florist
3) Baker
4) Caterer
5) DJ
6) Anything else that we might have forgotten...

Jenn says that we need to have the 1-5 finished by the end of March so we can "take a break in April."

Only 10 months away.
